WHERE
WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO St Anthony's Parish Church, in the Diocese of Down & Connor, is situated on the Woodstock Road in East Belfast. Although we are a small community, we join in all aspects of the spiritual life of the church, including Ministry of the Word and Eucharist. In union with
the Roman Catholic Church throughout the world, our Parish seeks
to advance the mission of Jesus Christ; that everyone may know God's
love for them, and grow in union with God and with one another.
Our faith is celebrated through our Parish Liturgy, informed by
the Word of God and strengthened by the Eucharist. |

"To sing is to pray twice" (St. Augustine)
Miss Gertrude Brady was our first resident organist and choir mistress, leading the hymn singing at two masses on Sundays and other church occasions. She taught music and singing in St Anthony's School and trained the children's choir who sang at 10.00am mass every Sunday.
Sadly, Gertie passed
away on Friday 27th November, 2009 and her funeral Mass was held on
Tuesday 1st December. The full choir was in attendance and sang her
favourite hymns.
New members are most welcome. Rehearsals are held on Monday nights (7.30-9.00pm). If you would like to join the choir and learn new music, please speak to Greg or Fr Stephen or any choir member.
The Choir released
their second CD, "Jubilate Deo", in celebration of the consecration
of St Anthony's church 70 years ago. There are still a few copies available
in the church from Fr Stephen or any choir member. To get a copy by
